Children Learn What They Live
(Author unknown)
IF a child lives with criticism..... he learns to condemn
IF a child lives with hostility..... she learns to fight
IF a child lives with ridicule..... he learns to be shy
IF a child lives with shame..... she learns to feel guilt
IF a child lives with tolerance..... he learns to be patient
IF a child lives with encouragement..... she learns to be confident
IF a child lives with praise..... he learns to appreciate
IF a child lives with fairness..... she learns justice
IF a child lives with security..... he learns to have faith
IF a child lives with approval..... she learns to like itself
IF a child lives with acceptance and friendship..... he learns to find love in the

Days of the Week
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child must work for a living,
But the child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay.

Our Son-In-Law
The day you wed our daughter,
The day you took her hand,
We didn't want to let her go,
For you, or any man.
But now we see the joy she's found,
How on you she can depend.
You've made her life complete,
You've become her special friend.
So now we want to tell you, our dear son in law
That you have grown to be,
Someone we think the world of,
We're glad to call you
"family".

Rainbows
Rainbows appear after
mighty storms,
When things look their
very worst.
Just when skies are
darkest gray,
Look for the rainbow
first.
The rainbow is a sign of
God's promise,
That He will guide us
trough all our trials.
No matter what their form,
When you feel battered
by life's storms,
And you are filled with
doubt and dismay,
Just remember God's
rainbow will come,
For it's only a prayer
away.

The Art of Marriage
A good marriage must be created.
In marriage the little things become the big things.
It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say I Love You
at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.
It is having a mutual
sense of values and common objectives
It is standing together facing the world.
It is forming a circle of love that gathers the
whole family.
It is speaking words of
appreciation and demonstrating
gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is having the capacity
to forgive and forget.
Is is giving each other room to grow.
It is a common search
for the good and the beautiful.
It is not only marrying the right person.
It is being the right partner

Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream that he was
walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene,
he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
one belonging to him, the other belonging to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before
him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints, and that
it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life...
This really bothered him and he questioned
the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But during the most troublesome times in
my life, there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you
most, you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious , precious
child. I love you, and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see
only one set of footprints, it was then
that I carried you."

The Key To Friendship
The Key To Friendship..
Is Not In The Hand You Hold,
But How You Hold The Hand.
It's Not In The Tears You Dry,
But All The Reasons Why.
It's Not How You Make A Person Smile
But Whether Or Not It's Worthwhile.
It's Not In The Conversation,
But In The Way You Listen.
It's Not In The Laughter,
But What Comes Before And Everything
After.
The Key To Friendship..
Is Not In Two People Relating,
But In Two Hearts Communicating.
Thank You For Being That Very Special Friend,
Who Understands The Key To Friendship,
And How To Unlock Everything Within.

Cherished Friends
God must have known there would be
times we'd need a word of cheer,
Someone to praise a triumph
or brush away a tear.
He must have known we'd need to share
the joy of "little things"
In order to appreciate
the happiness life brings.
I think He knew our troubled hearts
would sometimes throb with pain,
At trials and misfortunes,
or goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need the comfort
of an understanding heart
To give us strength and courage
to make a fresh, new start.
He knew we'd need companionship,
unselfish.... lasting.... true,
And so God answered
the heart's great need
with Cherished Friends.... like you!!

Friendships
Friendships are priceless gifts
that cannot be bought or sold
but their value is far greater
then any mountain of gold !

Friendship Ball
A ball is like a circle, no beginning or end
It keeps us together like Our Circle Of Friends
But the treasure inside for you to see
is the treasure you granted me
Today I pass this friendship ball to you
